The Beluki

The beluki are one of the native species of Yeilvai.

Biology

The beluki possess a thin, bipedal build. Their snouts are curved and pointed with a highly sensitive nose. The ends of their ears are floppy and boast large tufts of fur. The beluki's most striking feature is their massive, fluffy tail. The majority of their tail is purely made up of fur and requires regular maintenance and grooming in order to keep up its massive appearance.

Abilities

Memory Sharing

The beluki are able to share their memories into the minds of others. These memories are highly centered around the individual beluki's experience of the event and thus carry their biases. As a memory is shared, it becomes fainter in the beluki's mind. If shared enough, a beluki can completely forget that memory.

    Diet

Beluki are omnivorous, highly favoring fruits and small mammalian prey. Their strong forelimbs allow them to easily crack open nuts and tough fruits. Beluki will usually only hunt opportunistically.

    Hybrids

Beluki hybrids are semi-common, with the majority being ortio mixes. While utterly infertile, ortio/beluki hybrids lack major health issues. The majority of ortio/beluki hybrids are born as twins or even triplets. Most other beluki hybrids are generally healthy and are mostly infertile.
